In many branches of industry nowadays, exceptionally high demands are placed on the cleanroom and process suitability of the components and equipment utilized.
Manufacturers’ information regarding the suitability of products for use in clean manufacturing is often insufficient to enable the features of a particular product to be comprehensively assessed. This is due to the fact that they are based either on non-standardized or internal company test methods.
With experience gained over many years, the Fraunhofer IPA is able to provide comprehensive solutions to component and equipment purchasing problems. Reproducible tests are carried out based on regulations which the Fraunhofer IPA played a major role in drawing up, such as VDI 2083 Part 8 "Cleanroom suitability of operating utilities", and other international standards and guidelines such as SEMI, ISO and IEC. Of course, there is also the possibility of integrating internal company test procedures into the established methods applied at the Fraunhofer IPA.
