Contents of Phase 2
of the CSM

In Phase 2 of the industrial alliance “Cleanroom suitable materials CSM”, for the first time ever an accessible data base of cleanroom suitable materials is going to be compiled. By participating in the industrial alliance, you will be in a position to add material pairings which are important to your company and also benefit from test results obtained by other partners in the alliance.

The work completed in Phase 1 of the industrial alliance is listed below:

  • A standardized method for testing the cleanroom suitability of materials,
  • An assessment algorithm for classifying materials for use in international air cleanliness classes (e.g. ISO 14644-1) and also 
  • The planning and realization of a material test bench for cleanroom suitability tests.
